Look How Far

For relatives and specialists

Parents can invite a grandparent, nanny, teacher, therapist or anyone else who spends time with the child. Here is what this person can do in Look How Far.

What you can do

  • Add entries about your time with the child: what happened and what you noticed.
  • Write and talk to the assistant in your own language. The parents read your entries in theirs.
  • Ask the assistant about the child. It answers from the shared history and what is known about the child.

What you do not see

You do not open the family History, the parents’ conversations, photos, voice recordings or documents. The parents’ private conversations are not used in your answers. The parents choose what you have access to and can suspend it at any time.

How the invitation arrives

  1. A parent invites you in the app: Settings → Team.
  2. Within a couple of minutes you get an email with a Google Play button and three short steps.
  3. Install the app, sign in with the same email and the code we send, and accept the invitation.

During the pilot we add your email to the app’s testers by hand. If the Google Play link does not open yet, wait a little or write to support@lookhowfar.com.

For specialists

Look How Far is a family diary, not a medical record and not a clinical tool. Your entries help the parents keep the picture complete between meetings. The assistant does not diagnose and does not prescribe treatment or doses.
